01

Personal package basics

Government-issued ID, personal financial statement, resume or bio, and a recent credit report you obtained yourself are common starting points. Keep documents current and consistent across forms.

If retirement funds or home equity appear in the plan, gather statements early so you are not inventing numbers under deadline.

02

Business and franchise package basics

Franchise disclosure materials, itemized sources and uses, projections that match the story, and entity documents (when formed) usually appear. Expansions add tax returns, interim financials, and debt schedules.

If you already own 19% or more of another business, expect more entity-level financial questions. That is normal.
